This cast iron repair adhesive stands out from traditional welding and bolt-on repair methods due to its ease of use and low technical barrier. It does not require professional welding equipment or certified technicians, allowing maintenance personnel to complete repairs directly on-site. The nanoparticle-reinforced epoxy formula delivers superior tensile strength and impact resistance, ensuring the repaired area maintains structural integrity even under heavy load. It also offers excellent chemical resistance to oil, water and weak acids, preventing secondary corrosion of the repaired area. The gray color matches the appearance of cast iron parts, ensuring the repaired component maintains a consistent industrial aesthetic without additional surface treatment. Additionally, it cures at room temperature, eliminating the need for external heating equipment during the repair process.

The adhesive comes in a 500g dual-cartridge kit with a static mixing nozzle for precise 1:1 volume ratio proportioning. After mixing, the operative time is 30 minutes, allowing sufficient time for application before curing begins. It cures to a gray solid with a Shore D hardness of 85, providing a rigid, load-bearing repair. The full curing time is 24 hours at 25℃ room temperature, and the bonded area can withstand a tensile strength of 25 MPa. It operates within a temperature range of -40℃ to 120℃, making it suitable for most indoor and outdoor industrial repair scenarios.

This general-purpose cast iron repair adhesive is primarily used in the automotive manufacturing, heavy machinery, plumbing and agricultural equipment industries. Typical application scenarios include repairing cracks in engine cylinder blocks, repairing sand holes and pores in cast iron pipe fittings, repairing wear on machine tool beds, and fixing damaged cast iron farm equipment parts. It can also be used for on-site emergency repairs of cast iron components during production downtime, avoiding the need to replace entire expensive cast iron parts, which significantly reduces maintenance costs and production downtime. It is suitable for both professional maintenance teams and DIY enthusiasts looking to repair small cast iron components at home.
