This low-iron wollastonite powder uses high-grade low-iron natural wollastonite ore, processed through fine crushing and grading processes, with good melting performance and slag formation speed. It forms a uniform protective slag layer on the surface of the metallurgical molten pool, solving the pain point of ordinary protective slag with large component fluctuation and poor molten steel cleanliness. Its stable basicity and melting point can accurately control the physical and chemical properties of molten slag, improve the surface quality of billets, reduce energy consumption in the steelmaking process, and comply with the raw material quality standards of the metallurgical industry.

Detailed parameters include SiO2 content of 51.8±0.2%, CaO content of 46.2±0.2%, Fe2O3 content ≤0.01%, average particle size of 325 mesh (about 45μm), moisture content ≤0.2%, pH value of 9.0-9.5, ignition loss ≤0.2%, melting point of 1530℃, basicity of 1.12±0.05, bulk density of 0.62 g/cm³, packaged in waterproof woven bags with a single bag net weight of 50kg, and custom particle size and basicity parameters are available according to customer needs.
It is mainly applied to steel continuous casting protective slag, blast furnace ironmaking flux, non-ferrous metal smelting flux and other metallurgical scenarios. It can be used as one of the main raw materials for flux and protective slag, improving the heat preservation performance of molten slag and the ability to clean molten steel, improving the surface quality of billets, reducing refractory material consumption in the steelmaking process. It adapts to most metallurgical production slag formula systems, helping metallurgical enterprises improve production efficiency and product quality.
