This food-grade GCC solves the common pain points of conventional industrial GCC in food applications, such as high heavy metal content, non-compliance with food safety standards and poor food safety performance. Its strict production process ensures that all raw materials and production links meet food safety requirements, with no residual harmful substances. The added food-grade lubricant improves the flowability of the product, making it easy to add to food production lines without causing blockages in feeding equipment. Its high calcium carbonate content ensures efficient calcium supplementation and anti-caking effects, reducing the dosage of additives and improving the quality of finished food products.

This food-grade GCC has the following detailed technical specifications: particle size of 325 mesh with average particle diameter of 45 μm, minimum whiteness of 97%, minimum calcium carbonate content of 99.2%, maximum moisture content of 0.08%, oil absorption of 48 g per 100g of product, bulk density of 0.65 g/cm³, pH value ranging from 7.0 to 9.0, heavy metal content limited to less than 1 ppm, packaged in 25kg food-grade paper bags with 0.05% food-grade talc as anti-caking agent, compliant with FDA 21 CFR 182.1191 and GB 1886.214-2016 food safety standards.
This product is widely used in food and health product processing industries, including baked goods (as anti-caking agent and calcium supplement), dairy products (calcium supplement additive), health products (calcium supplement raw material), condiments (flow improver) and pet food. It is added to the food production system in strict accordance with food safety dosage standards, evenly dispersed in food raw materials to improve the flowability and anti-caking performance of finished food products, while providing supplementary calcium for human and animal bodies. It is also suitable for the production of pharmaceutical excipients as a filler and binder.
