This nano-grade GCC stands out from conventional coating fillers thanks to its ultrafine particle size and optimized surface properties. Unlike traditional coarse GCC that causes rough coating film surfaces and reduced scrub resistance, this 200nm-grade product forms a dense, uniform protective layer on the coating film surface, improving the scrub resistance and weather resistance of the coating. The added anti-caking agent prevents particle agglomeration during storage and transportation, ensuring easy dispersion in coating slurries. Its high whiteness and low heavy metal content meet strict environmental protection and safety standards for indoor coating applications, without releasing harmful substances during use.

This nano-grade coating GCC has the following detailed technical specifications: particle size of 2000 mesh with average particle diameter of 200 nm, minimum whiteness of 96%, minimum calcium carbonate content of 99.0%, maximum moisture content of 0.1%, oil absorption of 72 g per 100g of product, bulk density of 0.52 g/cm³, pH value ranging from 7.5 to 8.5, heavy metal content limited to less than 2 ppm, packaged in 25kg food-grade plastic bags with 0.1% magnesium stearate as anti-caking agent, with spherical particle morphology that improves the leveling performance of coating films.
This product is primarily used in architectural coating production, suitable for water-based interior wall coatings, exterior wall latex paints, wood coatings and industrial anti-corrosion coatings. It is added to the coating mixing system, mixed with titanium dioxide, pigments, binders and auxiliaries to form a uniform coating slurry. It can replace 10-25% of titanium dioxide in typical coating formulas, reducing the production cost of coating enterprises while improving the coverage, scrub resistance and leveling performance of the coating film. It is also suitable for the production of matte coatings to adjust the gloss of the coating film and improve the hand feel of the coating surface.
