This food grade silica sol is prepared from food-grade raw materials, conforming to FDA 21 CFR 173.300, GB 2760-2014 and other food safety standards. It has no peculiar smell and toxicity, can be evenly dispersed in food powder, effectively preventing food from caking and improving the fluidity of food. It can also be used for fruit and vegetable fresh-keeping, forming a thin breathable protective film on the surface of fruits and vegetables to reduce water loss and extend the fresh-keeping period, without changing the taste and flavor of food.

The food grade silica sol has a solid content of 30.0%±0.5%, pH value of 9.0±0.3, average particle size of 15nm±3nm, kinematic viscosity of ≤4.2mPa·s at 25℃, and density of 1.20g/cm³±0.02. The heavy metal content (calculated as Pb) is ≤10ppm, the arsenic content is ≤2ppm, and the total coliforms are ≤100CFU/g. It is available in 25kg food-grade plastic drums and 1000kg food-grade IBC intermediate bulk containers. The storage temperature should be controlled between 5℃ and 35℃, avoiding exposure to sunlight and freezing. It has a shelf life of 18 months and has passed FDA and GB 2760 certifications, meeting the strict safety requirements of the food industry.

This food grade silica sol is mainly used as an anti-caking agent for food powder such as milk powder, coffee powder, seasonings and edible salt, preventing food from caking and improving the fluidity of food. It can also be used for fruit and vegetable fresh-keeping, forming a thin breathable protective film on the surface of fruits and vegetables to reduce water loss and extend the fresh-keeping period. It is suitable for food processing, fruit and vegetable fresh-keeping, feed additives and other fields, meeting the food contact material safety standards of major global economies.
