This water-based coating grade silica sol adopts nano-scale particle size design, which can penetrate into the pores of coating substrates to form a dense protective film, improving the ultraviolet aging resistance of the coating with a service life of more than 10 years. It has low VOC content, conforming to the EU EU Ecolabel environmental protection certification, and has excellent compatibility with a variety of water-based resins without causing emulsion breaking of the coating system. It can significantly increase the washing times of the coating to more than 10000 times, reduce the coating dosage and improve the coating efficiency, without changing the original color and texture of the coating.

The water-based architectural coating silica sol has a solid content of 25.0%±0.3%, pH value of 9.0±0.4, average particle size of 7nm±2nm, kinematic viscosity of ≤3.8mPa·s at 25℃, and density of 1.16g/cm³±0.01. The VOC content is ≤0.08%, and the formaldehyde content is ≤5ppm. It is available in 25kg food-grade plastic drums and 1000kg IBC intermediate bulk containers. The storage temperature should be controlled between 5℃ and 38℃, avoiding freezing and exposure to sunlight. It has a shelf life of 12 months and has passed ISO 9001 and EU CE environmental protection certifications, ensuring safe and reliable use in building coating scenarios.

This silica sol is mainly used as a film-forming auxiliary and binder for water-based exterior wall paints, real stone paints, textured paints and other architectural coating products. It is suitable for residential communities, commercial office buildings, industrial plants, bridges and other outdoor coating scenarios, improving the weather resistance, stain resistance and adhesion of the coating. In addition, it can also be used in fabric coating and paper coating fields to improve the waterproof performance and surface finish of products, meeting the functional requirements of different industrial and consumer scenarios.
