Our high-concentration algaecide offers three key advantages for industrial cooling towers. First, its dual-active formula combines the fast-acting efficacy of glutaraldehyde with the long-lasting residual control of alkyl dimethyl benzyl ammonium chloride, delivering comprehensive protection against all types of waterborne microorganisms and algae. Second, it has excellent thermal stability, remaining effective at temperatures up to 80℃, making it suitable for high-temperature cooling systems in power plants and steel mills. Third, it has low foaming properties, eliminating the risk of foam overflow in mechanical draft cooling towers and reducing the need for anti-foaming additives. It also avoids the formation of harmful chlorinated byproducts, meeting strict environmental emission standards for industrial facilities.

This product is a light yellow transparent liquid with a mild almond odor. It has a density of 1.12-1.15 g/cm³ at 25℃, with a freezing point of -8℃ and a boiling point of 105℃ when diluted in water. It is supplied in 200kg heavy-duty steel drums with a corrosion-resistant inner coating, with a total shipping weight of 215kg per drum including packaging. It must be stored in a cool, dry area away from strong acids and oxidizing agents, with a recommended storage temperature between 5-35℃. When mixed with cooling water, it dissolves completely within 3 minutes, with no visible residue, ensuring uniform distribution across the cooling system.
This product is primarily designed for large-scale industrial cooling tower systems, including thermal power plants, oil refineries, chemical manufacturing plants, and steel production facilities. It is ideal for use in open circuit cooling towers, closed circuit cooling systems, and industrial water circulation pipelines with high organic load and microbial contamination. Typical use cases include monthly routine maintenance treatments, as well as emergency shock treatment after system shutdowns or during periods of high ambient temperature that accelerate algae growth. It can be applied through automated chemical dosing systems, with no special handling equipment required for most industrial facilities.
