Our non-oxidizing algaecide stands out from competing products with three core advantages. First, it offers broad-spectrum efficacy, killing over 99% of common waterborne microorganisms including green algae, cyanobacteria, pseudomonas, and sulfate-reducing bacteria. Second, it features excellent pH stability, working effectively across a 6.0-9.0 pH range without requiring frequent pH adjustment of the water system. Third, it has low foaming properties, making it suitable for both natural draft and mechanical draft cooling towers without causing foam overflow issues. It also avoids the formation of harmful chlorinated byproducts that are common with oxidizing biocides, meeting strict environmental protection standards for industrial wastewater discharge.

This algaecide is a clear, light yellow liquid with a mild fatty amine odor. It has a density of 1.02-1.05 g/cm³ at 25℃, with a freezing point of -5℃ and a boiling point of 100℃ when diluted in water. The product is supplied in 25kg food-grade plastic drums, with a standard shipping weight of 27kg per drum including packaging. It must be stored in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight, with a recommended storage temperature between 0-35℃. When mixed with water, it dissolves completely within 5 minutes, with no visible sediment residue, ensuring uniform distribution across the cooling water system.
This product is primarily designed for large-scale recirculating cooling water systems in industrial facilities, including steel mills, chemical plants, air conditioning chillers, and power generation stations. Typical use cases include monthly routine treatment to prevent algae and bacterial growth, as well as shock treatment after system shutdowns or during periods of high organic load. It can also be used in open air cooling towers, closed circuit cooling systems, and industrial water circulation pipelines. Facility operators can add the algaecide directly to the water sump or through automated dosing systems, with no special handling equipment required for application.
