This product is made of modified high-purity iron oxide red raw materials, which improves the salt spray and acid-base resistance, with salt spray test up to 1000 hours without rusting. It has light fastness grade 8-9, and will not fade under strong ultraviolet radiation for a long time. Its heat resistance reaches 400℃, making it suitable for high-temperature baking industrial coatings. It has excellent dispersibility, can be easily integrated into solvent-based or water-based coating systems, without agglomeration and precipitation, improving the uniformity and adhesion of the coating.
The pigment has iron(III) oxide content ≥96%, particle size D50 of 2-4μm, density of 5.2 g/cm³, oil absorption of 18-22 g/100g, pH value between 7.2 and 8.0, water soluble matter ≤0.2%, acid and alkali resistance grade 4, salt spray resistance ≥1000 hours, heat resistance ≥400℃, light fastness grade 8-9, conforms to ISO 787 international pigment testing standards, and is packaged in 20kg iron drums.
It is mainly used for exterior wall latex paint, industrial anti-corrosion primer, outdoor metal furniture coatings, bridge anti-rust coatings and ship cabin coatings. It provides long-lasting and stable red coloring and anti-corrosion protection for outdoor facilities, suitable for large-scale infrastructure projects, outdoor building renovation and industrial equipment maintenance.
