This calcium carbonate masterbatch uses LDPE as the carrier resin, and the calcium carbonate filler is pre-dispersed uniformly in the resin matrix, which can avoid the problem of agglomeration when directly adding calcium carbonate powder. The calcium carbonate content is up to 70%, which can greatly reduce the usage amount of expensive polymer raw materials, reducing the production cost by more than 15% compared with direct use of polymer raw materials. It has good compatibility with various plastic substrates such as PP, PE and PS, will not affect the mechanical properties of plastic products, and meets the ROHS 2.0 environmental protection standards, effectively solving the pain points of poor dispersion and high processing cost for plastic processing enterprises.

The product has a calcium carbonate content of not less than 70%, using LDPE as the carrier resin, with a median particle size D50 of 10-15μm. The melt flow rate is 2-5g per 10 minutes under the conditions of 190℃ and 2.16kg load, the tensile strength is ≥15MPa, the moisture content is ≤0.2%, and the heavy metal content is ≤1mg/kg. It appears as white uniform granules, complies with ROHS 2.0 environmental protection standards, and is suitable for processing of PP, PE, PS and ABS plastic products.

This calcium carbonate masterbatch is mainly used in the production of plastic films such as shopping bags, packaging films and agricultural films, improving the rigidity and dimensional stability of the films. It is also widely used in the production of injection molded plastic products such as plastic barrels, furniture parts and electronic shell components, improving the forming performance of the products. In the production of plastic pipes and plates, it can improve the pressure resistance and dimensional stability of the products, and is widely used by major domestic and foreign plastic processing enterprises.
