This paper grade heavy calcium carbonate uses high-quality limestone as raw material, after fine grinding and classification, with a uniform particle size distribution of 2-5μm, which can improve the smoothness and printability of paper. Its whiteness is not less than 95, which can effectively improve the whiteness and opacity of paper, making the printed text clearer and more vivid. The abrasion value is only ≤10mg/1000 times, which can greatly reduce the wear of papermaking equipment, reduce equipment maintenance costs and prolong the service life of the production line. Compared with ordinary talcum powder and other fillers, it has better compatibility with paper fibers, will not affect the strength of paper, effectively solving the pain points of reduced paper strength and high equipment wear caused by ordinary fillers.
The product has a calcium carbonate content of not less than 98.0%, with a whiteness of not less than 95, and the median particle size D50 is between 2 and 5μm. The abrasion value is ≤10mg per 1000 times, the moisture content is ≤0.3%, the pH value ranges from 8.0 to 9.0, the iron content is ≤0.05%, and the titanium content is ≤0.01%. The bulk density is between 0.8 and 1.0g/cm³, and it is suitable as a filler and coating pigment for various types of paper production.
