This coatings-grade basic zinc carbonate has good whiteness and dispersibility, can be evenly dispersed in the coating system without precipitation and caking. It releases carbon dioxide when decomposed at high temperature, playing a role in flame retardant and smoke suppression. At the same time, zinc ions can form a passivation film on the surface of metal substrates, improving the anti-rust and anti-corrosion performance of the coating. Compared with traditional aluminum hydroxide flame retardants, it has a higher thermal stability temperature, will not decompose in advance during coating production, and will not affect the color and gloss of the coating, solving the problem that traditional flame retardants reduce coating performance, providing an environmentally friendly and efficient multi-functional additive solution for coating manufacturers.

The purity (based on zinc) is ≥56.0%, iron content ≤0.05%, moisture ≤0.8%, 200 mesh sieve residue ≤20%, whiteness ≥90°, oil absorption is 25-30g/100g, PH value is 7.5-8.5, thermal decomposition temperature ≥250°C. The packaging uses double-layer woven bags, with a net weight of 50kg per bag, bulk density is 0.9-1.1g/cm³, total heavy metal content ≤50ppm, conforming to EU ROHS environmental protection standards.
It is mainly used in water-based architectural coatings, industrial anti-corrosion coatings, powder coatings, wood coatings and other fields. It can be added to coating formulas as a flame retardant and smoke suppressant, anti-rust agent and whitening agent, adapting to architectural exterior wall coatings, steel structure anti-corrosion coatings, furniture wood coatings and other scenarios, improving the fire resistance and weather resistance of the coating, adapting to domestic and foreign coating manufacturers, paint processing plants and building material suppliers.
