Its mild properties will not cause skin irritation, even suitable for sensitive skin. Compared with traditional zinc oxide, it has better dispersibility in oil and water systems, making it easier to be added to various cosmetic formulas, solving the problem of poor dispersibility of traditional zinc-based sunscreen agents.

With CAS number 5970-47-8, this cosmetic-grade basic zinc carbonate has an active zinc content ranging from 60.0% to 62.0%, appearing as white nano powder. The particle size is between 10-100 nm, with a specific surface area of 15-25 m²/g, moisture content not exceeding 0.7%, and heavy metal impurities strictly controlled, with lead ≤0.0003% and arsenic ≤0.0001%, fully complying with the 2021 edition of Cosmetic Raw Material Safety Technical Specification. It is packaged in 1kg aluminum foil bags or 5kg plastic drums, with outer packaging of plywood boxes to ensure product safety during transportation. It should be stored in a cool, dry and sealed environment, avoiding direct sunlight, with a shelf life of 18 months.
It is mainly added to sunscreen products, playing a mild sunscreen role while avoiding white cast, suitable for various skin types including sensitive skin. It can also be added to facial cleansers, creams and lotions, playing roles in anti-inflammatory, astringent and oil absorption, improving skin oil control and reducing redness. In makeup products such as loose powder and foundation, it can be used as a matting agent, improving the matte effect of makeup and lasting makeup time.
