It employs a horizontal or inclined drum structure, internally fitted with hundreds of flexible scraping fingers made of Food-Grade Silicone or Special Rubber. The drum rotates at a specific speed, causing the hog carcass to tumble continuously inside. The soft fingers effectively remove hair from all angles while minimizing damage to the skin. The machine is equipped with a high-pressure spray system that continuously rinses during the dehairing process, flushing removed hair into a collection trough. Automated loading and unloading design allows seamless integration with upstream and downstream conveyors.
Approximate overall dimensions (large model): 4500mm (L) × 2000mm (W) × 2000mm (H). Drum diameter is 1500mm, length is 3500mm. Drive motor power is 18.5kW, using a SEW or Nord brand gear reducer. The scraping fingers are made of Imported Heat-Resistant, Wear-Resistant Food-Grade Silicone. The frame and casing are 304 Stainless Steel. Equipped with a 7.5kW water pump and stainless steel spray pipes. Processing capacity can reach 300-600 heads per hour. The control system features variable frequency speed adjustment and overload protection.
Used immediately after the hog scalding tank. Properly scalded carcasses are fed into the dehairer inlet via a conveyor. After 1-2 minutes of mechanical dehairing, they exit from the other end and proceed to the washing/polishing or singeing process. Regular inspection and replacement of worn scraping fingers, along with adjustment of spray water pressure and temperature, are necessary to ensure optimal hair removal and hygiene standards.
