This wedge wire screen uses 2205 duplex stainless steel, which combines the high strength of ferritic stainless steel and the excellent corrosion resistance of austenitic stainless steel, providing superior wear resistance against abrasive pulp fibers, with a wear resistance rating of 9/10 per ASTM G65 standards, extending service life by 30% compared to 304 stainless steel screens. The fine screen slot design (0.05mm-1mm) ensures precise screening of pulp, removing tiny impurities such as fiber bundles, bark fragments, and sand particles, improving pulp purity and reducing paper defects like spots and holes. Its high open area ratio (30%-55%) maximizes pulp throughput, improving screening efficiency by 25% compared to traditional papermaking screens. The ultra-flat surface (≤0.5mm per square meter) ensures uniform pulp distribution, preventing local wear and ensuring consistent screening accuracy. The welded and bolted connection method ensures stable installation even under high vibration from papermaking equipment, and the screen’s corrosion resistance allows it to withstand acidic and alkaline pulp additives, maintaining stable performance in harsh papermaking environments.

The standard screen plate size is 1200mm (width) × 2400mm (length), with customizable sizes ranging from 800mm×1600mm to 1500mm×3000mm to fit different papermaking screening machines. The screen slot width ranges from 0.05mm to 1mm, allowing precise screening of different pulp types—0.05mm slots are ideal for fine printing paper pulp, while 1mm slots are suitable for packaging paper pulp. The screen plate thickness is 4mm to 10mm, ensuring structural stability without affecting screening efficiency. The open area ratio is adjustable between 30% and 55% to balance throughput and screening accuracy. The surface flatness error is within 0.5mm per square meter to ensure uniform pulp distribution, preventing local wear and improving screen life. The maximum operating temperature is 90℃, suitable for hot pulp screening processes. The connection holes are pre-drilled with a diameter of 12mm, compatible with most papermaking screening machine frames, and the screen plate’s weld strength is tested to withstand a tensile force of 50kN to ensure no deformation during operation.

This fine-slot wedge wire screen is widely used in large-scale papermaking plants for pulp screening processes. It is used to screen wood pulp, recycled pulp, and non-wood pulp, removing fiber bundles, bark fragments, sand particles, and other impurities to improve pulp purity, which directly enhances the quality of the final paper product, reducing defects like spots, holes, and uneven texture. In printing paper production, it ensures the pulp is fine and uniform, providing smooth, high-quality paper for printing and writing. In packaging paper production, it removes large impurities, ensuring the pulp has sufficient strength for packaging applications. Additionally, it is used in tissue paper production, screening fine pulp to ensure softness and smoothness of the final tissue product. Its excellent wear resistance makes it suitable for high-volume papermaking lines, reducing replacement frequency and maintenance costs, and its corrosion resistance allows it to handle pulp with acidic or alkaline additives, such as bleached pulp and recycled pulp with ink residues.
