This wedge wire screen adopts high-quality 304 stainless steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance against sewage and industrial wastewater, ensuring long-term stable operation in harsh water environments. The integrated self-cleaning system combines an internal rotating brush and hydraulic backflushing: the brush physically removes debris from the screen slots, while the backflushing water flushes away loosened contaminants, eliminating the need for manual disassembly and cleaning, which reduces maintenance time by 80% compared to traditional screens. The precise screen slot width (0.2mm-1mm) ensures accurate filtration of suspended solids, from fine sludge particles to large debris, protecting downstream pumps, membranes, and other equipment from clogging. Its high open area ratio (40%-55%) maximizes water throughput, with a maximum processing flow of 100m³/h per screen unit. The flange connection method ensures easy installation and replacement, and the pressure loss is kept below 0.05MPa, reducing energy consumption of water pumps.

The standard screen unit is a cylindrical structure with a diameter of 500mm and a length of 2000mm, with customizable diameters ranging from 300mm to 800mm and lengths from 1000mm to 3000mm to fit different water treatment systems. The screen slot width ranges from 0.2mm to 1mm, providing filtration precision from 0.2mm to 1mm, suitable for removing suspended solids in municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, and river water. The self-cleaning system’s internal brush is made of wear-resistant nylon, with a rotation speed of 10r/min, ensuring thorough cleaning of screen slots without damaging the screen surface. The hydraulic backflushing pressure is 0.2MPa-0.4MPa, with a backflushing cycle adjustable from 30 minutes to 2 hours based on water dirtiness. The maximum processing flow is 50m³/h to 100m³/h per unit, depending on the screen size and slot width. The operating temperature range is 0℃ to 80℃, suitable for most water treatment environments. The flange connection is DN100-DN300, compatible with standard water treatment pipeline systems, and the screen’s surface roughness is Ra1.6 to prevent debris adhesion.

This self-cleaning wedge wire screen is widely used in municipal sewage treatment plants, where it serves as a primary filtration device to remove large suspended solids, such as plastic debris, food waste, and sludge, from raw sewage, reducing the load on downstream biological treatment systems. In industrial wastewater treatment facilities, it is used to filter wastewater from textile, chemical, and food processing industries, removing fiber residues, chemical precipitates, and other contaminants to protect downstream membrane filtration equipment. It is also suitable for river water and lake water purification projects, filtering suspended solids, algae, and sediment to provide clean raw water for drinking water treatment plants. Additionally, it can be integrated into rainwater harvesting systems, filtering debris from rainwater to ensure the quality of stored rainwater for landscape irrigation and industrial non-potable use. Its self-cleaning feature makes it ideal for remote or unmanned water treatment sites where manual maintenance is difficult.
