The core technical advantage is 100% biodegradability, which can be completely decomposed in soil or compost environment within 180 days, reducing the environmental burden of composite material waste. The plant fiber source is renewable, with a low carbon footprint of only 1/5 of glass fiber prepregs. It has good molding performance at low temperature, and meets OK Compost and ASTM D6400 international environmental protection certifications, avoiding the problem of difficult disposal of traditional composite material waste. It also has good surface flatness and printing adaptability, making it suitable for high-end sustainable packaging and home decoration products.
The base fiber is a blend of 60% bamboo fiber and 40% flax fiber with a diameter of 20-30μm, matched with polylactic acid resin system. The thickness range is 0.3-1.5mm, standard roll width is 1000mm, and the fiber volume fraction is controlled at 50±2%. The curing temperature ranges from 60 to 90℃, with a bending strength of 280MPa and impact strength of 12kJ/m². The volatile content is no more than 0.2%, and it can be stored in a dry cool warehouse at 5-25℃ with a shelf life of 9 months. It is suitable for hot press molding and compression molding processes, and can be customized into different colors and specifications according to customer needs.
This prepreg is widely used in sustainable packaging boxes, home decoration panels, disposable tableware blanks, electronic product packaging trays, garden fence components, disposable industrial protective covers, and various low-load environmental protection structural parts. It can also be applied to low-carbon office supplies, medical disposable packaging and other scenarios that require environmental protection and sustainability.
