The double anti-corrosion process of hot-dip galvanizing and 0.5mm PVC coating greatly extends the service life to more than 30 years, which is 1.5 times that of ordinary galvanized gabion products. The thickened wire diameter of 3.5mm improves the overall load-bearing capacity, and the 100×120mm mesh aperture is suitable for filling large stones to enhance structural stability. It has good flexibility and can adapt to uneven coastal foundation deformation without cracking, and meets the dual requirements of environmental protection and engineering safety.
The mesh aperture is 100mm×120mm, the wire diameter is 3.5mm, and the standard unit size is 3000mm (length) × 1000mm (width) × 1000mm (height). The single cage can fill about 3 cubic meters of stones, and the mesh weight per square meter is about 15.8kg. The tensile strength is ≥400MPa, the PVC coating thickness is ≥0.5mm, and it passes the 500-hour salt spray test. The products are bundled in rolls for transportation, and 10 standard cages are loaded in each bundle to reduce logistics costs.
It is suitable for coastal erosion control, tidal flat ecological restoration, port wharf anti-scouring protection, and offshore wind power foundation protection, serving marine engineering, coastal municipal engineering and ecological restoration industries. It has been applied in the coastal regulation project of the Bohai Rim region, effectively slowing down the retreat of coastal beaches and protecting the local marine ecological environment.
