It uses hot-dipped galvanized steel wire with a diameter of 3.5mm to 5.0mm, and the welded mesh aperture is 60×80mm. The unfolded size of a single gabion box is 2m×1m×0.5m, and the folded size is 0.5m×0.3m×0.2m, which meets the ISO 9001 quality certification standard. Each set includes 1 gabion box and 1 set of fixing accessories, and 50 sets are packed in each PP woven bag, which is convenient for transportation and handling. The tensile strength of the wire is not less than 400MPa, which meets the load requirements of flood control and disaster relief, and the service life can reach 5 to 10 years for temporary use, and more than 15 years for repeated use. The product is equipped with a quick-assembly buckle, which can complete the assembly within 5 minutes.
It is mainly used in emergency flood control, mountain flood disaster relief, road blockage, temporary slope protection and other emergency rescue scenarios. It is especially suitable for sudden natural disaster scenarios such as mountain floods and river floods, where the construction period is tight and the transportation is inconvenient. Typical usage scenarios include the flood control work of the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River in 2023, the mountain flood disaster relief project in Sichuan, and the temporary road blockage work of flood-stricken areas. It can also be used for temporary protection of construction sites and temporary isolation of dangerous areas.
