The biggest differential advantage of this product is the use of Galfan alloy coating, which has a corrosion resistance 2-3 times higher than that of traditional hot-dipped galvanized products, and can resist the corrosion of salt spray and seawater in coastal areas for a long time. The hexagonal woven structure has excellent flexibility and can adapt to the settlement and deformation of the seabed and coastal foundations, avoiding structural damage caused by uneven settlement. Compared with traditional concrete seawalls, this gabion mattress has better water permeability, which can maintain the exchange of seawater and underground water, protect the wetland ecosystem, and reduce the impact on marine biological habitats. At the same time, it has a lighter weight and lower construction cost, which is more suitable for large-scale coastal protection projects.
It uses 5% Al-Zn Galfan alloy coated steel wire as the base material, with a wire diameter ranging from 3.0mm to 4.5mm, and the woven mesh aperture is 70×90mm. The unit weight ranges from 12 to 18 kg per square meter. A single group of gabion mattress can be customized with a length of 2m to 10m, width of 1m to 3m, and height of 0.2m to 0.5m, which meets the ISO 9001 and ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) quality certification standards. The packaging adopts palletized coil packaging, which is convenient for transportation and on-site laying. The tensile strength of the wire is not less than 420MPa, which meets the load requirements of coastal protection projects, and the service life can reach 30 to 40 years under normal use conditions. The Galfan coating has a thickness of 0.6mm to 0.9mm, which has excellent anti-ultraviolet aging and anti-corrosion performance.
It is mainly used in coastal zone revetment protection, seawall reinforcement, tidal flat management, port construction and other marine engineering scenarios. It can effectively resist the scouring of tides and waves, and reduce coastal erosion. Typical usage scenarios include the coastal protection project of the Bohai Rim, the seawall reinforcement project of the Pearl River Delta, and the tidal flat management project of the Yangtze River Estuary. It can also be used for the protection of offshore oil platforms and coastal roads, providing long-term stable protection for marine engineering facilities.
