This special grade DMC is optimized for the polycarbonate synthesis process, with ultra-high purity and low impurity content, which will not interfere with the ester exchange reaction and improve the molecular weight and optical properties of polycarbonate products. It effectively eliminates the safety hazards and environmental pollution problems of traditional phosgene method production, meeting the requirements of green chemical industry. It has stable chemical properties, ensuring consistent reaction efficiency in the production process. Compared with traditional raw materials, it can reduce the production cost of polycarbonate by optimizing the reaction process.

The product has a minimum purity of ≥99.99%, with methanol content ≤0.002 wt%, hydrolysis product (monomethyl carbonate) ≤0.001 wt%, and moisture content ≤0.001 wt%. The density is 1.070 g/cm³ at 25℃, and boiling point is 90.2℃. It is packaged in 1000L dry steel IBC tote tanks to avoid moisture and oxygen contamination. The CAS registration number is 616-38-6, and it complies with HG/T 5790-2021 industry standard. Storage requires a dry, oxygen-isolated warehouse with a temperature below 25℃, with a storage period of up to 18 months.
This special grade DMC is mainly used as a raw material for phosgene-free polycarbonate synthesis, applicable to the production of optical grade polycarbonate sheets, engineering plastic particles and high-performance polycarbonate products. It can also be used as a raw material for the synthesis of other carbonate-based chemicals, such as diaryl carbonates. It is suitable for large-scale continuous production lines of polycarbonate, meeting the high-volume demand of the engineering plastic industry.
