This product has excellent co-solubilizing ability, compatible with water and most water-based resins, effectively reducing the viscosity of water-based resins and improving the leveling and adhesion of coatings. Its VOC content is less than 10 g/L, far lower than the national VOC emission standards, solving the pain point of high VOC emissions from traditional coating co-solvents. Compared with traditional alcohol ether co-solvents, it has a lower odor and a 90% biodegradation rate, which will not affect the health of construction personnel.

This waterborne coating grade DMC is a colorless transparent liquid with 99.2% minimum purity, ≤0.08% moisture content, ≤15 APHA color, and <10 g/L VOC content. It has a density of 1.068 g/cm³ at 20°C, boiling point of 90.2°C, and closed-cup flash point of 21.7°C. Packaging uses 200KG sealed steel drums complying . It has a 24-month shelf life when stored in a cool, dry warehouse away from open flames and strong oxidizers.
It is primarily used as a co-solvent in water-based wood coatings, improving the solubility of water-based acrylic and polyurethane resins and improving the leveling and construction performance of coatings. It can also be used as a thinner and viscosity regulator for water-based industrial coatings and water-based inks, reducing VOC emissions and meeting national environmental protection requirements. Additional applications include the preparation of water-based adhesives, improving the bonding strength and water resistance of adhesives, serving coating processing plants, ink manufacturers, and adhesive suppliers.
