This battery grade DMC adopts ultra-high purification technology to control metal ions and moisture content at an extremely low level, effectively avoiding internal side reactions in lithium batteries and extending the cycle life of batteries. It has excellent electrochemical stability, which can reduce the internal resistance of the electrolyte and improve the charging and discharging efficiency of batteries. It complies with the safety standards of new energy vehicles and electronic products, helping battery manufacturers pass international certification audits. Compared with traditional electrolyte solvents, it can effectively reduce the risk of battery bulging and thermal runaway, solving the pain points of traditional solvent impurities affecting battery performance.

The product has a minimum purity of ≥99.99%, with moisture content ≤0.001 wt%, iron ion content ≤0.1ppb, sodium and potassium ion content ≤0.05ppb respectively. The density is 1.068-1.072 g/cm³ at 25℃,, and boiling point is 90.2℃. It is packaged in 1000L stainless steel IBC tanks or 200L stainless steel drums to avoid metal contamination of the product. The CAS registration number is 616-38-6, and it complies with IEC 62619 and UL 2271 safety standards. Storage requires an inert gas protected environment with a temperature below 25℃, and the valid storage period is 18 months.
This battery grade DMC is mainly used as a solvent for lithium-ion battery electrolyte, applicable to power batteries for new energy vehicles, consumer electronic lithium batteries including smartphones and laptops, energy storage batteries for grid-side and household energy storage systems. It can be used alone or compounded with other cyclic carbonate solvents to adjust the viscosity and conductivity of the electrolyte, meeting the performance requirements of different types of batteries. It is also suitable for the production of solid-state battery electrolytes as a processing aid.
