This food grade DMC strictly controls harmful substance indicators such as heavy metals and solvent residues, fully complying with food contact material safety standards, and will not cause contamination or harm to food products. It has excellent dissolving power for food-grade resins and adhesives, improving the printing fastness and safety of food packaging materials. It is non-irritating to the human body, reducing the health risks of production personnel. Unlike traditional toxic solvents, it will not leave harmful residues on food packaging, solving the pain point of traditional solvents causing food safety hazards.
The product has a minimum purity of ≥99.95%, with moisture content ≤0.002 wt%, heavy metal content (calculated as Pb) ≤0.1mg/kg, arsenic content ≤0.5mg/kg, and total solvent residue ≤0.005%. The density is 1.069 g/cm³ at 20℃, closed cup flash point is 17℃, and boiling point is 90℃. It is packaged in 200L food-grade stainless steel drums to avoid contamination of the product. The CAS registration number is 616-38-6, and it complies with China's GB 4806.10-2016 and the US FDA 21 CFR 178.3297 standards. Storage requires a dry, ventilated warehouse with a temperature below 30℃, separated from food raw materials, with a storage period of up to 12 months.
This food contact grade DMC is mainly used as a solvent for food packaging printing ink, a solvent for food spice extraction, a raw material for food additive synthesis, and an auxiliary agent for disposable food container production. It can also be used as a cleaning agent for food processing equipment, effectively removing oil stains without leaving harmful residues. It is suitable for the production of food-grade adhesives and coatings, meeting the safety requirements of food contact materials.
