It is prepared using high-temperature calcination and purification process, with stable crystal structure and higher hiding power and color saturation than ordinary iron oxide red pigments. It does not contain soluble heavy metals and is environmentally friendly. It has excellent UV resistance, and its service life can reach more than 10 years in outdoor exposure environments without fading or powdering. It also has excellent acid and alkali resistance, and can be directly added to concrete slurry without affecting the solidification performance of the base material, providing a low-cost and high-stability coloring solution for the construction industry.
Specific parameters include: α-Fe₂O₃ crystal structure, particle size 0.5-2 microns, density 5.2 g/cm³, pH value 7.0-8.5 (weak alkaline), hiding power ≥95%, oil absorption 12-16 g/100g, heat resistance temperature up to 300°C, light resistance level 8 (highest level), weather resistance level 5, complying with ISO 1248 and EU REACH regulations, packaged as 50kg per polypropylene woven bag.
It is mainly applicable to the architectural coating industry, including exterior wall latex paint, floor paint coloring, coloring treatment of precast concrete blocks, pavement bricks and wall bricks. It can also be used for coloring of anti-rust coatings, ceramic glazes, and color matching of outdoor advertising signs, providing a lasting and stable red appearance for outdoor scenarios, suitable for civil buildings, road engineering, industrial workshops and other construction scenarios.
