Adopting a multi-layer laminated structure, some are double-layer breathable films: the inner layer locks in moisture, while the outer micro-perforated design enables gas exchange, creating an optimal micro-environment for cheese storage and reducing drying or molding. It has outstanding barrier performance, effectively blocking oxygen, moisture and bacteria to extend cheese shelf life; certain models can prolong freshness by 2 to 3 times. Soft with excellent stretchability, it fits tightly to cheese shapes—whether block or wheel—and won’t easily peel off. Odor-free and compliant with food-contact safety standards, it never alters cheese’s original flavor. Some models incorporate calcium carbonate to inhibit bacterial growth and regulate the humidity and pH of the storage environment. High-barrier models use EVOH and PVDC, featuring superior oxygen and moisture barrier properties to meet storage requirements of different cheese varieties.

Thickness ranges from 12μm to 100μm: thin 12-16μm variants are for daily home use, while thick 50-100μm options suit commercial long-distance transportation and long-term storage. It offers various widths from 10cm for household use to 550cm for commercial applications; common 12cm and 30cm sizes fit most scenarios, with 12-inch (approx.30cm) large rolls widely used in commercial settings. Length options: 10-50m for household, up to 2450ft (approx.747m) or 1000m for commercial to meet different usage demands. Most are transparent or translucent for easy monitoring of cheese condition. It withstands a wide temperature range from -20℃ cryogenic freezing to 121℃ high-temperature cooking, adapting to various storage and processing scenarios. Certified by FDA, ISO9001, HACCP and more, it complies with food packaging safety standards; material combinations include PA/PE, PA/EVOH/PE and aluminum foil + lacquer.
At home, it wraps opened or homemade cheese for refrigerator storage, preserving fresh flavor and preventing odor transfer. In cheese shops and specialty food stores, large rolls wrap cheese wheels and blocks for daily sales, enhancing display effect and extending shelf life. Restaurants and delis use it for bulk storage of cheese ingredients to cut waste and ensure consistent quality of cheese-based dishes. Small household rolls are easy to access for short-term storage of small-quantity cheese; commercial large rolls can be paired with packaging dispensers to boost efficiency, ideal for cheese wholesale and long-distance transportation. Besides cheese, it also wraps perishable foods like meat and seafood with good versatility, serving as an indispensable packaging material in the food industry and home storage.
