The core feature of this water cap is its precision-wound wire structure with a 0.2mm gap, which precisely retains ion exchange resin particles while ensuring unobstructed water flow, solving the problem of resin loss and reduced softening efficiency common in ordinary water caps. Constructed from 304 stainless steel, it resists corrosion in softened water environments, preventing material degradation and resin contamination. Equipped with an EPDM gasket, it offers excellent sealing performance, preventing water leakage and resin leakage during system operation. The G3/4" internal threaded connection ensures easy installation and replacement, reducing maintenance time. Its high abrasion resistance (HB 200) withstands friction from resin backwashing, extending service life by 30% compared to plastic water caps.

The water cap is made from 1.2mm-thick 304 stainless steel, with a wound wire diameter of 0.8mm and a precise gap of 0.2mm, ensuring effective retention of ion exchange resin particles. Its overall height is 70mm, diameter is 48mm, and it features a G3/4" internal threaded connection, compatible with most ion exchange softener interfaces. The flow rate range is 20-25L/min, meeting the demand of residential and small industrial water softening systems. It can withstand a maximum working pressure of 2.0MPa, adapting to normal water pressure fluctuations in softening systems. The temperature resistance range is -5°C to 120°C, suitable for hot water softening applications. The EPDM gasket is 1.5mm thick, with good elasticity and aging resistance, ensuring long-term sealing performance. The total weight of the water cap is approximately 150g.

This wound wire water cap is primarily used in ion exchange water softeners, including residential household water softeners, commercial boiler water softening systems, and industrial pure water preparation pre-treatment units. It serves as a resin retention and water distribution component, preventing resin particle loss during backwashing and ensuring uniform water flow through the resin layer, improving ion exchange efficiency. It is also suitable for activated carbon filtration units and multimedia filters in pre-treatment systems, where precise particle retention is required. Its easy installation and corrosion resistance make it an ideal replacement part for plastic water caps in water softening systems, reducing maintenance costs and improving system reliability.
