This product has excellent suspension stability and dispersibility, which can prevent pigment precipitation in coating slurry and improve the storage stability of coatings. The high whiteness can improve the whiteness and gloss of the coating film, while the excellent scrub resistance can improve the durability of the coating. It can reduce the dosage of titanium dioxide by 10-20% without reducing the coverage performance, solving the pain point of high raw material costs in coating production.

Produced by high-temperature calcination of purified natural kaolin ore, this coating grade calcined kaolin has the following technical parameters: calcination temperature is 1050-1150℃; whiteness reaches 93% ISO minimum; SiO2 content is 50-52%, Al2O3 content is 36-38%; oil absorption value is 38-42g/100g; particle size D50 is 2-4μm; moisture content is ≤0.3%; pH value is 7.0-7.5; scrub resistance reaches ≥10000 times; VOC content is ≤0.1%. It is packed in 25kg waterproof plastic bags or 1 ton pallets for convenient transportation and storage.
This coating grade calcined kaolin is widely used in architectural coatings, industrial coatings and wood coatings, including interior wall latex paint, exterior wall anti-ultraviolet coatings, industrial anti-corrosion coatings, wood furniture paint and other products. It is added to the coating formula to improve the storage stability, scrub resistance and whiteness of the coating film, reducing the dosage of high-priced titanium dioxide and lowering production costs.
