Basic Info

This passive impact slope protection net is designed for high-risk slope rockfall and large-scale landslide scenarios. It forms a rigid intercepting structure through embedded steel columns and embedded foundations, which can withstand ultra-large impact loads and effectively intercept large falling rocks and overall sliding soil. It is mainly applicable to steep mountain slopes, cliff slopes and areas prone to large-scale landslides, providing comprehensive safety protection for important infrastructure such as along-village villages, railway stations and bridges. Compared with active protection nets, it focuses on intercepting protection under extreme disaster conditions, with stronger impact resistance and stability.

Product Description

Product features:

This product adopts high-strength alloy steel material and integrated welded steel column structure, which can withstand a maximum impact load of 5000KJ and intercept falling rocks weighing up to 10 tons. It adopts a double-layer mesh design, with a dense grille net on the inner layer to prevent small particle size gravel from penetrating, and a large-hole main mesh on the outer layer to bear the main impact load. The surface uses zinc-aluminum mixed coating anti-corrosion process, which improves the anti-corrosion performance by 40% compared with ordinary galvanizing process, and can be used normally in coastal high-salt fog environment for more than 20 years. The pre-assembled components only need to be hoisted and fixed during on-site installation, greatly reducing the risk of high-altitude operations and improving construction efficiency by 60%.

Product specifications:

The standard length of a single section of protection net is 20m, and the protection height is 3m. The diameter of the steel column is 219mm, the wall thickness is 8mm, and the embedded foundation depth is 2.5m. The mesh spacing is 0.8m, and the equipped buffer ring can effectively disperse the impact load and reduce the load on the steel column and foundation. It meets the TB/T 3201-2019 railway passive slope protection system standards, and a single set of system can cover about 60 square meters of intercepting area.

Product application:

It is mainly used for slope protection at cliff steep slopes and mountain highway bends, which can intercept suddenly falling large rocks and avoid fatal damage to passing vehicles. It can be used for slope protection of mine tailings ponds to prevent tailings leakage caused by landslides. It can also be applied to slope protection of viewing platforms in canyon scenic spots to ensure the safety of tourists. In addition, this product is also suitable for slope protection in earthquake-prone areas, and can maintain stable protective performance even after earthquakes cause mountain loosening.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q:How does Passive Impact Slope Protection Net differ from active systems?
A:Passive Impact Slope Protection Net is installed at slope bases to intercept falling rocks, with energy absorption capacity up to 5000kJ. Unlike active systems that reinforce slopes, passive nets act as barriers and require less slope surface preparation.
