Constructed from Q345 low alloy structural steel, this pole offers 20% higher tensile strength than Q235 steel, making it capable of withstanding Grade 13 strong winds and heavy snow loads. Its double-layer surface protection—hot-dip galvanization with a thickness of over 100μm followed by fluorocarbon spraying of 70μm—provides excellent resistance to salt spray, acid rain, and UV radiation, ensuring a corrosion resistance life of more than 30 years, which is ideal for coastal and industrial areas. The pole is pre-drilled with multiple wiring holes (4 holes of 50mm diameter) to facilitate neat routing of camera power and signal cables, avoiding external cable damage. It also features adjustable mounting brackets that support various types of surveillance cameras, including bullet cameras, dome cameras, and PTZ cameras, with a maximum load capacity of 200kg. The matte black finish reduces glare reflection, preventing interference with camera imaging.
The pole has an overall height of 8 meters, with a tapered octagonal cross-section that transitions from 240mm at the base to 100mm at the top. The wall thickness remains a consistent 4.0mm, ensuring uniform structural stability. The flange plate is 500*500*14mm, made of high-strength carbon steel, and is pre-tapped with 8 M20 bolt holes for secure foundation connection. The hot-dip galvanization process complies with ASTM A123 standards, providing a smooth, uniform zinc coating. The fluorocarbon spraying layer uses PVDF resin material, which has excellent weather resistance and color retention, with a surface hardness of 2H. The total weight of the pole is 160kg, and it can support a maximum combined load of 200kg for cameras and supplementary lights. The inner wall is equipped with a PVC wiring sleeve to protect cables from friction damage, and the top is sealed with a waterproof cap to prevent rainwater infiltration.
This security monitoring octagonal pole is widely used in various security scenarios, including industrial park perimeter monitoring, residential community entrance and exit surveillance, urban branch road traffic monitoring, and large parking lot management. For industrial parks, it can be installed along fences to mount PTZ cameras, covering a monitoring range of up to 150 meters per pole, effectively preventing illegal intrusion. In residential communities, it can be paired with dome cameras to monitor public areas such as playgrounds and parking lots, enhancing resident safety. In urban branch roads, it supports the installation of traffic violation capture cameras, helping traffic management departments enforce traffic rules. It is also compatible with 5G communication modules, enabling real-time transmission of high-definition surveillance footage, making it suitable for remote monitoring and intelligent security management systems.
