Compared with traditional ferric chloride and lime conditioning agents, its dosage can be reduced by 30%-40%, and will not increase the total volume of sludge. It has little impact on the pH value of sludge, without the need for additional adjustment of sludge pH, simplifying the conditioning process. The formed floc has high density, and the solid content of dewatered sludge can reach more than 35%, greatly reducing the transportation and disposal costs of subsequent sludge. Its corrosion is far lower than that of ferric chloride, which can effectively prolong the service life of sludge dewatering equipment and reduce equipment maintenance costs. It has no irritating odor, making the operation process safer and more environmentally friendly, avoiding health risks to operators.

It is available in liquid and solid forms. The liquid product is reddish brown transparent liquid, and the solid product is reddish brown granular. The density of the liquid product is 1.30-1.40g/cm³, and the effective ferric iron content of the solid product is 13%-16%. The salt base degree is 5.0%-8.0%, the pH value of 1% aqueous solution is 3.0-4.0, the sludge dewatering rate is ≥85%, and the solid content of dewatered sludge is ≥35%. It is fully soluble in water, with fast dissolution speed. The liquid product is packaged in 25L plastic drums or 1000L IBC ton barrels, and the solid product is packaged in 25kg kraft paper bags. The shelf life can reach 12 months (liquid) and 24 months (solid) in a normal temperature, cool and dry environment. It is suitable for all kinds of sludge, including activated sludge, digested sludge and industrial sludge. The usual dosage is 50-150kg/ton wet sludge, which can be adjusted according to the nature and moisture content of the sludge. It can be used with dewatering equipment such as belt filter presses and plate and frame filter presses to effectively improve dewatering efficiency and shorten dewatering time.

It is suitable for sludge treatment links of urban sewage treatment plants, sludge dewatering of industrial sewage treatment plants, sludge treatment of printing and dyeing mills and papermaking mills, sludge treatment of food processing plants, and sludge conditioning of sludge centralized disposal centers. A typical application scenario is a county-level sewage treatment plant. After using this sludge conditioning polyferric sulfate to treat activated sludge, the solid content of dewatered sludge increased from the original 22% to 38%, and the sludge volume was reduced by 42%, saving the factory about 150,000 yuan in sludge transportation and disposal costs every year, and reducing equipment maintenance costs by 25%. It can effectively reduce the moisture content of sludge, reduce the odor and infectivity of sludge, and facilitate subsequent sludge resource utilization, such as sludge composting and sludge incineration, improving the comprehensive utilization value of sludge.
