This product consists of non-woven fabric made via a spunlace process,forming a dense yet soft fibrous network.This structure not only intercepts food scraps but also absorbs some grease.Stored dry and folded,it expands for use over the sink strainer basket or directly on the drain,conforming naturally when wet.The reinforced edges help maintain shape and resist tearing even when damp.Discarding it after a single use with the waste is considered sanitary and convenient.
A single sheet is circular when expanded,about 16cm in diameter,sufficient to cover the drain area of a standard sink.The material weight typically ranges from 30-40 gsm,balancing filtration efficiency and wet strength.The tiny pores in the non-woven fabric can filter particles around 100-200 microns.Contact with boiling water or prolonged soaking in hot oily water is not recommended to avoid accelerated material breakdown.Usually sold in rolls or boxes,storage should be in a dry place.
Suitable for temporary filtering needs in various kitchen sinks.Highly recommended when dealing with hotpot broth,used frying oil,or rinsing greasy dishes to reduce grease and fine debris entering pipes.Also useful for filtering impurities from rice-washing water or rinsing legumes.Place it inside the existing strainer basket or lay it directly;after use,lift and discard the strainer along with the waste,leaving the sink and basket relatively clean and reducing cleaning effort.
