The optimal surface roughness can reach Ra 0.1μm(mirror finish).The maximum processing current is usually 50-100 A.The processing rate(volume removal rate)varies depending on the material,for example,steel(graphite electrode)can reach 300-500 mm³/min.The capacity of the working fluid tank is about 500-800 L.The positioning accuracy can reach±0.002 mm/total length.Numerical control systems are mostly specialized systems,such as AgieChamilles OS and Mitsubishi M700.Machine tools have certain requirements for the working environment(temperature,humidity,cleanliness).
