Rings and rolling elements are made from AISI 440C stainless steel, which provides high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance after heat treatment, particularly against fresh water, seawater, weak acids, and many chemicals.Double-sided pressed steel shields(non-contact)offer basic protection while adding minimal friction, allowing higher speeds. The cage is made from advanced engineering plastic PEEK or equivalent stainless steel, further enhancing chemical compatibility and high-temperature stability. The bearing is typically filled with food-grade or fluorinated grease.

The bearing suffix"SIR"indicates the stainless steel series, and"ES"indicates optimized internal design with C3 clearance.AISI 440C material contains approximately 1%carbon and 16-18%chromium,achieving a hardness above HRC 58 after quenching and tempering.Non-contact steel shields(ZZ type)are pressed from austenitic stainless steel with a small gap to the inner ring.PEEK cages can operate continuously at temperatures up to 250°C.Factory radial internal clearance is typically C3 group(greater than normal)to accommodate different thermal expansion coefficients of stainless steel or for high-temperature applications.High cleanliness levels suit sensitive environments.

Widely used in food and beverage processing equipment, pharmaceutical machinery, chemical pumps and valves, marine instruments, medical devices, optical instruments, and precision equipment in outdoor humid environments. In the food industry,it can withstand direct contact with washdown water or steam. Also suitable for special applications requiring non-magnetic or low-magnetic properties.
