Unlike traditional rigid speed bumps, this flexible speed bump system uses a multi-layer structure: a 15mm thick natural rubber surface layer for wear resistance, a 5mm thick nylon reinforcement layer for load-bearing capacity, and a 10mm thick rubber base layer for shock absorption. This structure effectively reduces the impact on vehicle suspensions by up to 40%, minimizing vehicle damage and driver discomfort. The grit anti-slip layer has a particle density of ≥200 particles per cm², providing excellent traction in wet or icy conditions, complying with EN 1463-1 standards for anti-slip performance. The weighted installation method allows for quick deployment without drilling holes in the road surface, reducing damage to road infrastructure, while the bolt-fixed method provides permanent installation for long-term use. Its natural rubber material offers excellent resistance to oil, UV radiation, and aging, ensuring a service life of ≥5 years, and its modular design allows for flexible configuration of length to adapt to different road widths.
Each standard module of the Portable Flexible Speed Bump System measures 500mm in length, 350mm in width, and 50mm in height, with a total weight of 8kg. The natural rubber surface layer has a hardness of 65±5 Shore A, providing excellent wear resistance and shock absorption, while the nylon reinforcement layer has a tensile strength of ≥300MPa, ensuring a load capacity of ≥150kN (equivalent to the weight of a 15-ton truck). The grit anti-slip layer is made of high-hardness aluminum oxide particles, with a particle size of 0.5-1mm, providing a friction coefficient of ≥0.8 in dry conditions and ≥0.6 in wet conditions. The black-yellow reflective strips are 100mm wide, made of micro-prismatic reflective material, with a reflectivity of ≥400cd/lx/m², complying with ISO 9001 quality management standards. The module can be connected to adjacent modules using built-in steel hooks, forming a continuous speed bump of any length, and its temperature resistance range of -30℃~+60℃ ensures stable performance in extreme weather conditions.
This product is widely applicable to various speed control scenarios, including school entrances and exits to protect students during drop-off and pick-up periods, residential community roads to reduce vehicle speed and improve pedestrian safety, construction site access points to control vehicle speed and prevent dust dispersion, parking lot internal roads to guide vehicle flow and reduce collision risks, and rural highway entrances to adapt to changing traffic conditions. For schools, its portable design allows for temporary deployment during peak hours, minimizing disruption to normal traffic. For construction companies, its weighted installation method eliminates the need for road drilling, reducing construction costs and road damage. In addition, it can be used in temporary event sites such as outdoor concerts or sports events to manage vehicle speed and ensure pedestrian safety. By providing a flexible, durable, and vehicle-friendly speed control solution, it improves road safety while minimizing the impact on vehicle performance and road infrastructure.
