The increased diameter leads to a geometrically proportional increase in section modulus, endowing the pole with extremely high bending resistance, torsional stiffness, and strength. It can withstand complex combined loads from conductor tension, ice coating, and wind pressure in 220kV power lines, making it a key equipment in the ultra-high voltage transmission field.

As a large-scale prefabricated component, it uses C60 high-strength concrete and thicker main reinforcement. The flange size and strength are correspondingly increased, with more bolts and higher specifications. The production process is complex, requiring large-scale centrifuges and steam curing equipment.

Primarily used in 220kV transmission lines, assembled into various types of straight towers and tension towers. In large-scale substations, it serves as portal-type structures and equipment supports (e.g., for SF6 circuit breakers and capacitive voltage transformers). Occasionally, it is used for auxiliary structures in 500kV power lines.
