The perforated design provides sound transmission paths while maintaining structural strength. This helps mitigate the acoustic barrier formed by the ceiling plane and, when combined with overhead sound-absorbing insulation, may improve the room's overall sound absorption coefficient.Surface treatment considers corrosion resistance, and coated colors sometimes match acoustic panels.

Perforation specs(hole size, spacing, open area)are engineered to balance acoustic performance and structural integrity.A common open area is around 20%.The base profile dimensions and thickness match those of equivalent non-perforated runners to ensure compatibility with other system components.Products may be supplied with laboratory acoustic performance data for reference.

Primarily used in spaces with higher acoustic requirements, such as open-plan offices, meeting rooms, auditoriums, school classrooms, libraries, and concert halls. It works synergistically with high-performance acoustic ceiling panels and plenum insulation to form a complete acoustic ceiling system, helping control room reverberation time and noise levels.
