The core characteristics are high-end luxurious texture and comfortable touch. Natural wood veneer (e.g., walnut, oak, cherry) retains the unique texture and warmth of wood, enhancing the grade and affinity of the space. Engineered wood veneer has consistent color and texture, appearing more modern. The system usually consists of a keel base layer and veneer panel modules, using dry construction. It can be combined with metal inlays, linear lighting for design, adding detail and a modern sense. Besides aesthetics, it also possesses the sound insulation and sturdy performance of a solid wall. Internal layers can be filled with soundproofing cotton, and the surface is easy to maintain and clean.

The total thickness of the veneer panel is usually 6mm-18mm (3mm veneer + base material). A keel system (light steel keel or wood keel) is installed to build the wall cavity. Height generally does not exceed the indoor clear height. Surface treatment can be open-pore (feeling the wood grain texture) or closed-pore (smooth surface). Attention must be paid to the moisture content of the wood and environmental grade (E0 level).
