The core feature of this play set is its integration of scientific education and interactive play, turning abstract mechanical principles into intuitive and interesting practice. Children can manually operate the hand crank or pedal to drive the spiral blade to rotate, and clearly observe the process of water being lifted from the shallow pool to the top of the spiral pipe and then flowing back to the pool, forming a circulating water flow. This intuitive demonstration helps children understand the working principle of the Archimedean screw pump, as well as the basic knowledge of fluid mechanics. It offers two drive modes: hand-cranked mode is suitable for young children, which is easy to operate; pedal-driven mode is suitable for older children and parents, which can exercise leg strength and enhance parent-child cooperation. The main structure is made of food-grade PE plastic, which is non-toxic, odorless, and resistant to impact and UV radiation; the spiral blade is made of 304 stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance and can be used in water environments for a long time. All edges and corners are rounded and polished to eliminate sharp protrusions, effectively preventing accidental scratches. Additionally, it supports custom configuration of spiral length and diameter, adapting to different venue scales and user needs.

The spiral pipe length ranges from 1.2 meters to 2.5 meters, with a diameter of 20cm to 35cm, and the lifting height of water is 0.5 meters to 1.2 meters, adapting to different age groups of children. The main frame is made of rotational-molded food-grade PE plastic with a thickness of 6mm-8mm, featuring excellent impact resistance and UV resistance, and can be customized in colors such as blue, green, and yellow. The spiral blade is made of 1.5mm thick 304 stainless steel, with a spiral angle of 30 degrees, which can efficiently lift water when rotating. The hand-cranked mode is equipped with a non-slip rubber handle, with a rotation ratio of 1:1 (each crank rotation drives the spiral blade to rotate one circle); the pedal-driven mode is equipped with two non-slip pedals, with a rotation ratio of 2:1 (each pedal rotation drives the spiral blade to rotate half a circle). The applicable water depth is 0.2-0.5 meters, and it needs to be used with a shallow pool or water table with a water storage capacity of 50L-200L. The total weight of the 1.2-meter hand-cranked version is about 75kg, while the 2.5-meter pedal-driven version weighs about 160kg. It can be fixed on the ground with expansion bolts or placed on a flat platform, and the installation is simple and quick.
This play set is widely used in various educational and leisure venues. In amusement park science popularization zones, it can be placed together with other science education equipment such as lever principle exhibits and pulley system exhibits, forming a science education area that combines entertainment and learning, attracting families with school-age children and enhancing the educational value of the venue. In parent-child leisure areas of resort hotels or outdoor camps, it provides a fun interactive activity for parents and children to work together to operate the spiral pipe, observe the flow of water, and communicate scientific knowledge, enhancing parent-child bonding. In research study bases, it can be used as a key teaching tool in mechanical science courses, allowing students to practice and understand the principles of Archimedean screw pumps, improving their hands-on ability and scientific literacy. It is also suitable for primary school science laboratories, children's science museums, and community activity centers, providing a practical science education resource for children. For venues with STEM education themes, it can be used as a core facility to hold science experiments and competitions, enhancing the professional image of the venue. Additionally, it can be customized with logo printing and science knowledge labels, becoming a promotional and educational tool for the venue.
