A key feature of this waterwheel is its immersive audio-visual system, which synchronizes RGB dynamic lighting changes with the rotation speed and the sound of flowing water, creating an immersive atmosphere that enriches tourists’ sensory experience. The CCA high-pressure impregnation treatment allows the preservative to penetrate deep into the wood, providing long-term protection against rot, termites and fungal damage. The dual hydraulic-electric power system helps reduce unstable rotation caused by fluctuating water flow, supporting stable operation in different seasons. Additionally, the large diameter and wide blades create a noticeable water splashing effect, which can help cool the surrounding area in summer and improve the comfort of tourists. The reinforced steel structure inside the wooden frame enhances the overall stability and wind resistance of the product.

The overall diameter of the waterwheel is about 500cm, with a hub thickness of 30cm and blade width of 60cm. It uses 5cm-thick Southern Yellow Pine planks that have undergone high-pressure drying and anti-warping treatment. The hydraulic power system is equipped with a water flow sensor, which automatically adjusts the rotation speed according to the water flow rate (0.5-2m³/s). The electric auxiliary system uses a 220V/50Hz motor with a power of 0.75kW, which can start automatically when the water flow is insufficient. The RGB lighting system includes 36 LED strips with a color rendering index of ≥90, controlled by a smart controller that supports multiple lighting modes such as gradient, flash and breathing. The retro sound system is equipped with waterproof speakers that simulate the sound of traditional waterwheels, with an adjustable volume range of 30-80dB. The total weight of the waterwheel is about 1,200kg. The recommended concrete foundation size is 300cm×300cm×80cm with a steel bar reinforcement mesh inside.
This large immersive waterwheel is suitable for 5A-level scenic spots, theme parks and cultural tourism towns, serving as a landmark attraction to attract tourists and increase foot traffic. In riverfront scenic areas, it can be integrated with the natural water system to create a unique landscape that combines traditional culture and modern technology. During festivals and events, its RGB lighting system can be customized to match the theme, creating a festive atmosphere and becoming a popular check-in spot for tourists. It is also suitable for large-scale outdoor commercial complexes, where it can help improve environmental quality and attract visitors, supporting the development of surrounding businesses such as restaurants and souvenir shops. Additionally, it can be used in ecological restoration projects to showcase the harmony between humans and nature, and help raise environmental awareness among visitors.
