The core is a precision miniature hydraulic cylinder. As the door begins to close, the damper creates uniform resistance, making the closing action smooth. The housing is made from durable die-cast zinc alloy with an electroplated finish for rust resistance and aesthetics. Most models feature an adjustable valve, allowing users to fine-tune the closing speed via a knob to suit different door weights and usage habits.Its"soft-close"characteristic significantly enhances the quality feel of a home and reduces mechanical impact on door locks and frames, extending their lifespan.
The hydraulic cylinder typically has a stroke of 1-1.5 inches.High-viscosity silicone oil is used internally as the damping medium to ensure temperature stability. The mounting bracket has standard hole spacing, compatible with most door thicknesses(35-45 mm).It can provide a maximum damping torque of approximately 3-5 Newton-meters.The product undergoes tens of thousands of open-close tests to ensure durability. The operating temperature range is between-10°C and 60°C.Installation requires ensuring sufficient clearance between the top of the door and the door frame.
Widely used in home bedrooms, studies, and bathrooms, especially in children's and elderly persons'rooms, effectively preventing pinching injuries and noise disturbance.Used on office cubicle and conference room doors,it helps maintain a quiet professional environment. Also commonly used on balcony doors and entry doors to prevent wind from causing them to slam shut.Installation requires precise adjustment of the angle and force to ensure the door fully closes in the final stage of its travel. Not suitable for outward-opening doors or excessively heavy doors.
